Well – we made it back home yesterday, after visiting friends in Edinburgh and near York. Overall we did 2147 miles door-to-door (give or take a few). And the only casualty (car-wise) was that on Saturday morning (i.e. after the run was complete), the drivers seat support decided to collapse. So I spent the next four days driving round with 2 cheap Morrisons duvets stuffed under the seat to bolster it up 🙂
